A somewhat unconventional strategy board game for 2 players, but also works for 2 opposing teams of 2. Players take the role of opposing spellcasters. They must use their spells to manipulate the Ley Lines until they have managed to accumulate enough energy to destroy their opponents.
Arcademy is a tabletop role-playing game in which players take the role of students at a magical academy in a setting which is based loosely on France near the end of the Hundred-Years war (around 1425). Players are encouraged to role play by a lack of charisma stat, the ability to create their own spells, and broad skills. Failed spells may have side effects ranging from comical to disastrous, to comically disastrous.
Dungeon Crawling is a National Sport, and it is the player's job to create the dungeons, in order to satisfy the desires of the fans. This may mean that the hero survives, or that he dies, or that he collects some amount of treasure or kills some number of a specific enemy. National Dungeon League is available from the DigiPen Game Gallery On this project I was the Lead Designer and did the majority of the programming. Note: The credits on the DigiPen website are incorrect. They should read as follows: Dough Schilling - Executive Producer Lief Coleman - Product Manager Weylin Etra - Producer Paul Schwarzwalder - Lead Designer Conner Vincent - Technical Director A World of Warcraft mod, which scans the player's recipes, and creates a map of recipes that each item can be used in. It then displays the recipes which use the item in the item's tooltip. This is stored persistently so that other characters on the same account can see the same information, with the character's name displayed before the recipe. This is also recursive, so items which can be fabricated into components for another recipe show this chain to a depth which the user can configure.
It is available for download from Curse.com I was the sole developer of this project. It has over 10,000 downloads. |
